Working long hours, especially unpaid overtime, to hit feature deadlines or fix problems that occur out of hours is a common occurance for empoyees in the tech industry. This talk aims to look at the possible effects that long hours have on diversity in the tech industry and will review different solutions to create a healthy work-life balance.

About the event

We will host a variety of talks on diversity, inclusion and breaking of stereotypes and biases. We hope to hold open and frank discussions and debates on what can be done to increase diversity in the technology industry.

The evening will start off with food (with vegetarian and vegan options) and refreshments (wine/beer/soft drinks/etc). Talks will start at 7:00pm. After the talks please do stick around to chat and meet others who care about improving diversity.
